Titan Airways introduces new fleet of Hyundai vehicles.

Titan Airways has recently purchased a selection of brand new Hyundai vehicles. The six cars in the fleet will be used for transportation to and from airport buildings and aircraft at the VIP charter airline's Stansted base, moving crew to alternative international and regional airport operating bases throughout the UK and as pool cars for staff members.

Titan Airways initially approached Hyundai as there is a local dealership at Colchester and Titan is always keen to support local businesses. However, the ultimate decision was based on the dealership's professionalism, its range of vehicles, the value for money proposition and the 5-year warranty.

Paul Taylor, Business Development Manager at Titan Airways, said: "The key motivation for us buying Hyundais was that it is one of the few marques that could supply both small compact hatchbacks and large people carriers.

"Hyundai was chosen on the strength of its product offering and the excellent value for money proposition. We have found that the build-quality is great and it proved to be a good fit for Titan Airways. Furthermore, the manufacturer's 5 Year Triple Care warranty package was also a deciding factor in opting for Hyundai."

Titan Airways services its vehicles in-house every six months as a requirement to drive onto the airfield alongside the aircraft. Taylor added: "Our supplying dealer, Haddocks Hyundai, was very professional and able to accommodate our precise requirements in terms of vehicle specification as well as our specific in-house service and maintenance needs."

Martin Wilson, Hyundai Motor UK National Fleet Sales Manager commented: "Our refreshed range of vehicles is ideally suited to fleets owing to its class-leading whole-life cost offering. We look forward to working with Titan Airways on an on-going basis to ensure their fleet continues to deliver the desired results."

The Titan Airways' purchases, which have been fully branded in the company's distinctive colours, include the Hyundai i20 model, two i800 models and three i40 Tourer models.

Titan Airways is always striving to offer the very best solutions to VIP air charter needs. The company was recently presented with the BACA (Baltic Air Charter Association) 'Best Charter Airline' award for 2012. Continually growing and looking for new opportunities, Titan Airways is one of the UK and Europe's most successful and profitable independent airlines.
