First Class Cars to extend service to Lydd, London Ashford Airport.

Thursday 4th October 2012

Effective immediately, London Luton-based executive ground transportation firm First Class Cars, is expanding its UK coverage to serve Lydd, London Ashford Airport.

The news follows hard on the heels of the opening of First Class Cars' new bases at dedicated business aviation airport, TAG Farnborough Airport in May and Barclays London Heliport in Battersea in July. First Class Cars is also present at London Stansted and London Heathrow and a regular at Cambridge and London Biggin Hill Airports.

Lydd Airport is owned and operated by London Ashford Airport Ltd, a subsidiary of FAL Holdings. Located 90km from central London, it serves London, Kent and East Sussex and is within easy access to the M20 motorway and High Speed Rail. Business aviation activity is growing steadily at the 24hr airport, with Lydd's executive FBO, FAL Aviation, providing a personal and professional service to both customers and crew in aircraft up to Global Express and BBJ size.

Commenting on First Class Cars' extended coverage, Graham Coate, Managing Director and founder says: "The decision to extend our service offering to Lydd, demonstrates our commitment to our passengers. It offers clients another option when selecting their departure airport of choice and it was an obvious addition to the existing ring of airports we serve around London. We watch the trends in aviation to pick up on patterns that affect major business aviation hubs and adapt our service accordingly."

First Class Cars has grown from a fleet of one vehicle originally driven by Coate himself, to a sizeable company employing knowledgeable, smart and customer focused drivers and a 35-strong fleet of premium vehicles, including the S-class Mercedes saloon, Mercedes Viano, Bentley Continental Flying Spur plus the popular Rolls Royce Phantom.
