On Saturday, 29th May at 14:00, Aerobility and London Biggin Hill Airport will open the returning airshow season by bringing the thrill of live aviation direct to your living-room.

With an exclusive and free-to-view livestream on ArmchairAirshow.com, the show will raise funds in support of disabled flying whilst bringing viewers unique and exclusive access to air displays, aircraft and aviators.

The aircraft line-up is impressive with fast jets, heritage aircraft and an exploration of electric flight, whilst the guest aviators are stellar with the likes of Patty Wagstaff (six-time member of the US Aerobatic Team, the first woman to win the title of US National Aerobatic champion and one of the few people to win it three times) joining the show.

Rich Goodwin’s Jet Pitts will be bringing an extra-special feature to the event as well.

Mike Miller-Smith, CEO at Aerobility, said “Everyone at Aerobility is excited to be delivering Armchair Airshow 2021. Whilst we bring aviation to homes everywhere, we are also raising funds for the Armchair Airshow Flying Scholarship – this fund will enable us to change the lives of more young people with disability by teaching them how to fly. This is the purpose and importance of the show. Our hope is that the entire aviation community will find a way to make a contribution to the fund and support disabled flying.”

Colin Hitchins, Head of CSR and Sustainability at London Biggin Hill Airport said “We are delighted to be working on the Armchair Airshow with Aerobility. The work the charity does is so important and we are pleased to make our contribution to the fund, our hope is that this will encourage the rest of the industry to do the same.”

Aerobility will be providing regular show updates from now until the 29th May. You can follow @Aerobility on Twitter and Facebook.
