Switzerland based Vertis Aviation is marking its five year anniversary this fall as it makes its second appearance at the National Business Aviation Association Convention (NBAA) in Las Vegas on Boothe N5222 The company will be talking up its expanded ultra long range fleet and its recent additions - a Gulfstream G650, Boeing Business Jet (BBJ), and an Airbus ACJ319, enabling Vertis to connect the USA with the rest of the world.

In Las Vegas, Vertis will be particularly promoting its brand new 2015  ACJ319 which joined the fleet in April. With a range of 5500nm and a capacity to fly up to 13 hours non-stop, it has one of the longest ranges of any ACJ currently available for charter - making typical flights from Las Vegas to Paris or from New York to Buenos Aries easily within its reach.

The aircraft was jointly managed from concept through to delivery by 28 East (a partnership formed between Vertis Aviation and Germany-based aircraft management and operator, K5-Aviation) and has been designed specifically to meet the needs of the VIP charter client. The aircraft offers seating and/or sleeping for 19 passengers in a spacious and modern cabin. The 24-meter cabin is divided into four modular sections with excellent sound-proofing and a state-of-the-art humidification system. Adding to the comfort and convenience, all 19 fully lie-flat beds are certified for taxi-to-taxi so it is possible for guests to be sleeping during take-off and landing. For those passengers wanting to enjoy the IFE, the aircraft is equipped with a 55in LCD 'cinema' screen - the largest, certified screen in the sky, three 42-inch screens and two 24-inch screens offering the ultimate in inflight entertainment.

The jet is already in high demand in Europe and the Middle East from royalty, government, corporate and ultra-high net worth individuals. It is anticipated that this elite aircraft with its long-range capabilities and minute attention to detail will prove equally popular with the US market.
Vertis Aviation's 7000nm range Gulfstream G650, which joined the fleet last year, is also likely to prove a hit in the US. Configured for 12 passengers the jet features a luxurious, spacious interior with eight business seats in a four-place double club layout and six divan lie flat JetBeds. The long-range aircraft also has an exceptional state-of-the-art IFE and wifi connectivity. It has been an extremely popular addition to the fleet and already boasts a client list including government officials, heads of state, captains of industry and international celebrities. With a split base between the Bahamas and Geneva it is ideal for American clients regularly needing a long-range transatlantic option.

Vertis Aviation's return to NBAA marks a milestone for the company who celebrated five years in business at a special event in London last month. The company launched in Zug, Switzerland by Jeffrey Emmenis, Erica Da Veiga and Luca Madone in 2010 with just two aircraft to market and one employee. The company now markets a 15 strong fleet of premium ultra-long range, large cabin aircraft, employs a team of 11. In addition to its Swiss headquarters, it has locations across the globe at Farnborough International Airport, UK, in the Free Zone of Dubai World Central and Johannesburg, South Africa, which opened earlier this year. Vertis is now exploring opportunities in the USA. With a fleet that regularly serves transatlantic routes to destinations such as Miami, New York and Los Angeles, it is perfectly placed to extend its operations to further serve the US market.

Neil Turnbull, COO at Vertis Aviation comments: "We regularly serve US East Coast destinations from Europe's capital cities with our Gulfstream G650 and Bombardier Global Express and XRS. We understand the demands of the US market and anticipate that our ultra-long range, large cabin capabilities and our focus on attention to detail will serve us well in this market. The new ACJ319 is a perfect addition to our fleet and we look to explore further opportunities in the US. We are excited about sharing its attributes with delegates here on the booth at NBAA."
