UAS International Trip Support continues its 2014 expansion and growth with the opening of two new offices.  The first of which is an Asia Pacific Headquarters in Hong Kong and secondly a Regional Office in Beijing.  The opening of these offices is a clear demonstration of UAS' recognition of the importance of the Asian market.

The Hong Kong Headquarters joins the American, African and Middle East Headquarters to become UAS' fourth global headquarters.  Like its overseas counterparts, the Hong Kong Headquarters will have a full in-house operations team available 24/7, 365 days a year which aims to offer an exceptional standard of trip support and planning to its clients.  This operations team acts as an extension of client's flight departments.

Mohammed Husary, UAS Executive President said "Hong Kong was an obvious choice for a number of reasons not least its strategic location with fantastic accessibility.  The Hong Kong headquarters enables us to have greater coverage in the entire Asia Pacific region.  Hong Kong itself is a major global business hub with existing sophisticated infrastructure.  It is also a very popular destination for our clients so by opening our headquarters there we are able to give them more support which has always been our number one priority."

Both the Hong Kong Headquarters and the Beijing regional office will help service local needs and expectations, all are a core component of UAS' value proposition. The Hong Kong office will offer around-the-clock service in English, Mandarin and Cantonese, eliminating most language and time-zone barriers.

Talking about the new office openings, Roman Stampoulis - Regional Director Asia Pacific said "if a charter or corporate jet needs a landing permit in Wellington for a flight from Bangkok  but they need it relayed in Mandarin, we've got them covered,"  Stampoulis continued, "Leveraging our experience in other markets, we believe we can become the 'go-to point' for trip support services to and from any destination in the Asia Pacific region and beyond."

UAS now has an extensive workforce across the globe that aims to provide consistent high-quality services expected by UAS clients, at any destination, anywhere in the world.

UAS Saves Sight and Transforms Lives with Orbis

UAS is proud to announce that it has become a corporate sponsor of Orbis joining companies such as Omega, Standard Chartered and Pfizer in supporting the fantastic charity which is dedicated to the prevention and treatment of the causes of avoidable blindness.  80% of all visual impairment can be avoided or cured and Orbis operates the Flying Eye Hospital dedicated to preventing blindness.  On the outside, the plane is like most other aircraft. Inside, it's like no other - it hosts an ophthalmic hospital and teaching facility right on board.

Orbis has saved the sight of people in over 92 different countries including China, India and Vietnam.  In China it is seen as the leading blindness prevention organization and is considered by the International Association for the Prevention of Blindness and other nongovernmental organizations as the most capable, effective and professional blindness prevention organization in the country.

In addition to the Corporate Sponsorship, UAS will be fundraising for Obis during their Gala Dinners to celebrate the launch of both the Hong Kong Headquarters and the Beijing Regional Office.
