FlairJet, the London Oxford Airport, UK-based charter operator, is broadening its range of business aircraft under management with the introduction of a brand new Cessna Citation Mustang and a Beechcraft King Air 350i, both joining the fleet this summer.

The Mustang, which offers four-passenger club seating, is scheduled for delivery in late-July and will be based at Birmingham Airport, complementing FlairJet's London Oxford Airport and London Luton Airport bases.

The Beechcraft King Air 350i has been acquired through Marshall Aviation Services, as the exclusive UK and Ireland distributor of the Beechcraft family, and will arrive straight from Textron Aviation's headquarters in Wichita, USA, in early August. The aircraft will reside at Broughton Airport, North Wales, at the Marshall Aviation Services' Hawker Beechcraft FBO and customer support facility. Both aircraft join FlairJet's fleet, which includes two Embraer Phenom 100s, a Cessna Citation XLS and Bravo.

FlairJet, part of Marshall Aviation Services since February 2013, has trained three pilots on the Mustang and is training up a further three new pilots to fly the 350i at Flight Safety International.

FlairJet was the first business jet operator in Europe to receive EU-OPS Air Operators Certificate (AOC) approval earlier in the summer, testament to the skills and experience of the FlairJet standards and compliance team.

The Mustang, a high performance, very light jet (VLJ) is ideal for customers looking for short range travel needs for flights under one hour. Its well-designed, sleek interior with all-leather seating, executive tables and six large oval windows offers a high degree of spaciousness and style. With a range of 1,150 nm and the ability to land on short runways, the Cessna Citation Mustang is highly versatile and ideally suited for popular charter destinations such as Dublin and Paris at the lowest cost for entry in the executive jet marketplace.

Additionally, based in Birmingham, it will provide first class travellers arriving on international long haul flights from destinations such as Dubai, New York, Beijing and Dehli, with swift interline capability to any further destination in Europe.

The new King Air 350i turboprop, from a 50 year-heritage, features a classically designed, quiet and spacious interior with eight seats in a standard double club configuration. Equipped with a state of the art cabin management system, it features high definition video and broadband connectivity. With a range of 1,714 nm and ample baggage storage the King Air 350i is equally suited for short haul leisure trips or executive business travel to multiple destinations.
