Ethiopian Airlines, Africa's expanding carrier has significantly improved its offering to Africa with the arrival of the Boeing 787 Dreamliner on the Addis Ababa service from

London Heathrow and the start of daily flights from July 8th (up from six weekly).

It is keen for the travel trade in the UK and Ireland to be aware of how its product has improved so it is re-launching its popular Online Travel Training programme: www.ethiopianexpert.com. ; The course is open to travel agents and industry professionals who can access the resource free of charge and train at their own pace. The course consists of five modules and takes approximately 20 minutes to complete. At the end of each module, participants must answer a series of questions. To pass each module, participants must answer all questions correctly and then may move on to the next module. A certificate is awarded on completion of the course.

Ethiopian Airlines is renowned for its customer service and was awarded Best Airline Staff Service in Africa last year at the annual SKYTRAX World Airline Awards.  Mario Mansilla, Ethiopian Airlines Sales Manager for UK & Ireland comments: "We understand the importance of training in order to meet the expectations of our customers. The travel trade is hugely important to us and what better time to invite them to re-educate themselves on what Ethiopian Airlines, Africa's fastest growing airline with a raft of new routes beyond the Addis hub has to offer."

Travel agents and industry professionals completing the course by May 30th have the opportunity to enter a competition to participate on the annual Ethiopian Airlines fam trip.  It will take place in the autumn when Ethiopian has settled into its new home at the new Queen's Terminal (formerly Terminal 2) at London Heathrow.
