Basel, Switzerland-based AMAC Aerospace announced today that AMAC Aerospace Turkey has been awarded its EASA Part 145 certification by the European Aviation Safety Agency. The approval enables AMAC Aerospace Turkey to undertake all base and line maintenance on aircraft under 5700kg including the Pilatus PC-12 NG. AMAC Aerospace Turkey will serve as the maintenance service centre base for owners of PC-12 NG in the Middle East Region.

Kadri Muhiddin CEO of AMAC Aerospace comments:  "The ability to provide EASA 145 services from our Istanbul facility adds significantly to our existing array of maintenance solutions. It offers our discerning Middle Eastern clients greater choice and the added convenience of visiting us in Turkey rather than making the longer journey to Europe. We are fortunate to enjoy a solid relationship with the Turkish Authorities and have a strong presence within the general aviation sector at the airport through our new maintenance centre facility, both of which will benefit our growing Istanbul facility."

AMAC Aerospace is currently exploring additional maintenance approval opportunities at its Turkish facility to further bolster its reputation as a leading provider of corporate aviation maintenance services. AMAC's other international approvals include those from the countries of Aruba, Nigeria, Cameroon, Russia, The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the UAE, where it is GCAA approved.
