Mente Group, LLC, the Dallas, Texas-based international aviation advisory firm, returns to NBAA's Business Aviation Convention and Exhibition (static position 27) next week in Orlando, FL, to introduce a strengthened senior management team centred on four strategic new appointments.  Each individual brings broad experience and extensive international knowledge of the sector and will help deliver a diverse range of solutions - from consulting to asset management for corporations and financial institutions and aircraft sales and marketing.  Their objective is to embrace each client project with a different and unique approach.

•    Richard Emery is Mente's newly appointed Chief Operating Officer.  Richard has been actively involved in managing aviation organizations for over 25 years. He has extensive experience in both domestic and international sales and operations and has worked with leading OEM's including Gulfstream; Bombardier (Canadair); and Hawker Beechcraft. Previously, he led the customer facing activities for Hawker .

Beechcraft worldwide and successfully led the International organization through the restructuring of the company in Chapter 11 to its eventual sale to Textron.  In his new role Richard will guide business development, company strategy, explore international expansion and market Mente's unique approach to transacting aircraft.

•    David Coppock joins as Managing Director, Central and Western USA. Most recently, he was Chief Operating Officer for IFE solutions company, SmartTray International. His brings more than 25 years' experience in marketing, sales and flight operations of business and commercial turbine aircraft including management roles at Hawker Beechcraft, where he was Vice President of Sales, and at Gulfstream Aerospace as Regional Sales Director. David is also an accomplished pilot having served as a sales demonstration pilot for Bombardier Aerospace following time as a pilot in the United States Air Force and Air National Guard.  David holds type ratings in the Falcon 900 and Boeing BBJ. David will lead the business development efforts in this important region.

•    Jim Lewis has been appointed Vice President of Sales and will be responsible for sales and marketing in Northern California, the Pacific Northwest and Mountain regions.  He brings over 40 years' highly relevant aviation industry experience to the role, including 20 years in operations and 20 years in aircraft sales. Most recently, he served as Regional Sales Director at Embraer. Prior to that, he was Sales Director for Gulfstream. Jim holds an ATP pilot's license with eight type ratings, and has logged 10,000 flight hours.

•    Dan Dunn has been appointed to the position of Managing Director and he will lead the sales team in the eastern half of North America. He brings over 20 years of business aviation experience to the role, previously as VP at Jetcraft and Vice President of Key Air.  Dan holds an FAA A&P and Pilot's license, and is factory trained on eight corporate aircraft types, including Bombardier, Boeing, and Gulfstream models, as well as possessing extensive avionics, engine, and training experience.
