Following the successful launch of its aviation business in Turkey, leading provider of corporate aviation maintenance and completion services AMAC Aerospace has today announced that its facility at Ataturk International Airport, Istanbul has become a Dassault appointed Authorised Service Centre (ASC). AMAC Aerospace Turkey achieved EASA Part-145 approval for Falcon 900 & Falcon 900EX EASy models earlier this year enabling AMAC to carry out line maintenance on Falcon 900 and Falcon 900EX EASy models, including Falcon 900DX and Falcon 900LX at line maintenance level up to and including 4A+. AMAC Aerospace Turkey was subsequently awarded the status of Dassault Falcon Authorized Service Center (ASC) at the end of April this year. It is anticipated that maintenance approvals for the Falcon 2000 and Falcon 2000EX EASy family will be given later in the summer, and that Falcon 7X approval will be given by year end.

The ASC plaque was presented to Kadri Muhiddin, Group Executive Chairman & CEO of AMAC Aerospace by Jacques Chauvet, Senior Vice President, Worldwide Falcon Customer Service, at this year's leading European aviation event, EBACE 2014.

This latest approval will further bolster AMAC Turkey's maintenance service capabilities which currently includes EASA Part 145 certification by the European Aviation Safety Agency enabling all base and line maintenance on aircraft under 5700kg including the Pilatus PC-12 NG. It also serves to further underline the company's plans to expand its maintenance offering to service a wide variety of aircraft types in the Turkish region.

"We are delighted to receive the ASC plaque from Dassault Falcon and we look forward to delivering first class maintenance support to ensure the safety and security of Dassault Falcon aircraft owners and operators. The approval should further bolster AMAC Turkey's sales which have already been very positive over the past twelve months. We continue to attract clients from the Middle East and Europe who are drawn to us by our convenient proximity between both continents which makes for a very healthy diversity of clients," said Atilla Guney, COO of AMAC Aerospace Turkey.

Based at Istanbul Ataturk Airport, AMAC is equipped with 1,500 square meters of hangar, shop and storage space and is staffed by a team of highly skilled professionals with more than 20 years of experience in aircraft maintenance.

In addition to the Turkish approvals the headquarters of AMAC Aerospace based at EuroAirport Basel-Mulhouse-Freiburg, Switzerland provides a broad range of additional maintenance capabilities and has achieved approvals covering a wide range of aircraft including the wide body Boeing B747-400 and B747-8 Series Part 145.  AMAC's other international approvals include those from the countries of Brazil, Aruba, Nigeria, Cameroon, Russia, The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the UAE, where it is GCAA approved.

AMAC Aerospace will be exhibiting at this year's EBACE on booth 2946 and will be promoting its full range of international maintenance capabilities and approvals.
