A one day conference focused on helicopter operations will play host to a range of speakers active in the sector at the Crowne Plaza, The London Heliport, Battersea on Thursday, June 4th.The conference, overlooking London's only commercially licensed heliport, is being held in response to demand as the industry is forced to embrace a raft of new regulations.

Commencing with a brief update from Peter Norton, Chief Executive of the British Helicopter Association, delegates will hear from the regulators - NATS and the UK CAA. PrivateFly, Castle Air, Capital Air Services and Starspeed will discuss new trends in helicopter charter. The ever demanding role of the emergency services will be covered by the Association of Air Ambulances and the National Police.

Airbus Helicopters' Andrew Detti, Customer Support Director, Aberdeen Fleet and Alex Sharp, European Sales Director, Sikorsky lead an OEM panel discussing advances in technology / innovations in safety, while advances in cabin connectivity and cabin design will be addressed by Inmarsat, Satcom Direct and Design Q, Andrew Winch Designs and Flying Colours, respectively.

Advances in helicopter MRO brings together key players A2B Aero, Gama Aviation and Harrods Aviation. Leading business aviation chauffeur company First Class Cars has agreed to run complimentary transfers to and from the Heliport from Clapham Station and On Air Dining will offer mini desserts designed for helicopter passengers.
