The Barclays London Heliport lends its support to charity Coast to Coast canoe challenge.

The Barclays London Heliport will lend its support to charity canoeists Richard Porges and Stuart Dodwell today as they canoe down the River Thames in a record setting coast to coast challenge.

Barclays London Heliport stepped in to help the canoeists by storing their canoe at the end the penultimate leg of a 200 mile, seven day journey after they had been left without a secure storage facility at the very last minute.

All proceeds from the challenge will go to the Surrey-based Phyllis Tuckwell Hospice ( and Disability Challengers (, a charity dedicated to providing exciting and challenging play and leisure opportunities for disabled children and young people.
