Air Canada are continuing to bring a little bit of traditional glamour to the hectic world of commercial avaiation.

On a recent trip to Montreal I was lucky enough to experience the service from the delightful Pietro in Montreal and Join the UK. This service is targeted to their premium executive clients
and higher end customers who are met directly at the airport aircraft
door.

What can sometimes be a tortuous journey through the airport is smoothed by the concierges who know all the handy hints, have helpful travel tips, and even help you with your bags.

I'd been stuck behind the fire stricken Ethiopian Dreamliner as LHR did
an amazing job of getting the airport operational again but it meant for a longer journey.

The friendly face of Pietro at the other end was a welcome greeting, if only more airlines could bring
back some of the glamour.
