FlairJet is a new business jet charter operator, based at London Oxford Airport. The company took delivery of its first two aircraft, the first Embraer Phenom 100s on the UK ‘G’ register (G-DRBN and G-SRBN) during October and November 2009. FlairJet, backed by three London-based QCs, has been created to provide first class, on time performance. It pledges to offer a personalised, quality service, moving away from the traditional air taxi - pitch up and fly culture. With a range of up to 1,160 nm, FlairJet will focus on easy to reach cities in mainland Europe, domestic UK routes and also Scotland and Ireland. Its USP is to deliver a transparent, easy to use, easy to book service. Upon attaining its AOC, FlairJet, headed by former Monarch Airlines Captain David Fletcher, hopes to offer commercial charters from December 2009. It has plans to expand its fleet with larger aircraft within the next year.
