PremiAir Global Takes Flight
Monday 7th July, 2008
UK aviation services company, PremiAir, has today announced the formation of a new aircraft sales business. Farnborough Airport-based PremiAir Global is an aircraft sales and brokerage specialist, focused on acquiring and selling new and used helicopters and business jets.
Tim Blockley, PremiAir Global’s Managing Director highlights that the new business is not affiliated to any aircraft manufacturer: “I firmly believe that PremiAir Global’s impartiality and independence within the business aviation aftermarket is paramount to our unique service offering,” said Tim, who has more than 10 years experience of business jet and helicopter sales and leasing in the UK, Europe and North America. “Particularly when working with a client to select and source the right aircraft for their specific needs, impartiality means that every possible aircraft is assessed, regardless of manufacturer.”
“PremiAir Global’s Head Office will be UK-based, but we’re actively exploring possibilities of representation overseas in order to establish a truly global sales and brokerage business. We are speaking with a number of prospective partners and would welcome dialogue with representatives interested in partnering PremiAir Global in other overseas markets, particularly where located in the major business aviation centres,” commented Tim.
Joining Tim at PremiAir Global, is Helicopter Sales Executive Louise Wheatley who has eight years aviation sales experience, most recently managing helicopter sales activity at Michael Wheatley Helicopters in the UK, a business originally established and operated by Louise’s late father.
“We’re really excited about the formation of PremiAir Global, commented David McRobert, PremiAir’s Group MD. “PremiAir has been developed to offer a comprehensive range of aviation services in both fixed and rotary wing markets, mainly to the business aviation community. PremiAir Global’s services will harness more than 30 years of PremiAir experience in aircraft operations, maintenance and management to provide our clients with a fully integrated sales and brokerage service that we believe few other similar organisations will be able to match.”
PremiAir Global is able to provide clients with expertise on every aspect of aircraft purchase – from identifying the best aircraft type for a client; sourcing the right aircraft on or off the market; carrying out full aircraft inspections and technical assessments; assisting legal teams with aviation specific legal matters; guidance on the import/export process post purchase; or design work, installations and modifications to aircraft on anything from paint schemes to interior options, entertainment systems and avionics upgrades.
“PremiAir Global is able to provide a unique and truly comprehensive aircraft sales solution, delivered professionally and courteously within both markets,” said Tim Blockley. “Much of our assessment goes on continuously in the background unbeknown to our clients. Market research; understanding market fundamentals; identifying product trends; observing global hotspots; nurturing industry relations and assessing aircraft values; all designed to give our clients a first class service.”
At present PremiAir Global is actively sourcing aircraft for a number of significant clients including a Challenger 604, Hawker 800XP, Beechcraft Premier 1/1A, Sikorsky S76C+ and Eurocopter EC155. The company’s sales portfolio currently includes a new Agusta A109S Grand, which will be available in the first quarter of 2009; a 2005 Agusta A109S Grand, a 1984 Agusta 109A MKII and a 1980 Bell 222A.
