Oxygen 4 enjoys Middle East success
Tuesday 28th October, 2008
Oxygen 4 Aviation, the independently owned air charter brokerage company, attended last week’s second annual Business Travel Show in Dubai’s Madinat Jumeirah Arena to showcase its expertise to the Middle East market.
Craig Middleton was recently appointed as a Director at Oxygen 4, with responsibility for steering the company into new markets. Middleton acknowledges that Oxygen 4 has witnessed a growth of approximately 20% in the executive jet charter market in the Middle East during the past 18 months. “The Middle East is a relatively new and unique market for us and we’re very keen to explore the opportunities it offers,” he said. “The Middle East is a niche market, with expectations and requirements quite removed from those we cater for in Europe and the rest of the world. There is strong demand in the Middle East especially for wide body jets with full cabin service.”
Oxygen 4 was established in 2005 and has a young and energetic approach to business. While UK-based, the company is especially active in Europe, primarily chartering private jets from Germany, Austria and Switzerland, with Russia, the Middle East and Asia pinpointed to provide growth opportunities over the coming months.
The company, which has its headquarters in West Sussex and also has offices at Pinewood Studios and Hollywood, Los Angeles, closed its third financial year (2007-2008) at the end of March with revenues topping £18 million, ranking Oxygen 4 as one of the leading executive jet brokers.
Oxygen 4 will also be at MEBA in Dubai next month. www.meba.aero.
