Airline Services Components Ltd (ASC) part of the growing Airlines Services Group, has moved into a 33,000 sq ft warehouse, logistics and HQ facility in Manor Royal, very close to London Gatwick Airport (LGW). The move has been driven by ASC’s need to accommodate its rapidly growing stock of Airbus A320 family and Boeing 737 Series rotable components along with a wide range of wheels and brake assemblies. Chris Hooley Managing Director of ASC said: “We recognised earlier this year that ASC was well ahead of its initial business plan and consequently plans for expansion were brought forward. This fantastic new facility will house our ever expanding stock, make our shipping process even faster and give us the room we need for future growth.”

ASC also works with a number of other OEM’s and high quality repair shops in order to assist in the provision of nose to tail component services for its growing customer base.

The senior management team at ASC has amassed significant experience in the aerospace industry covering a range of disciplines from commercial and supply chain management within the airlines, through to MRO and power-by-the-hour (PBH) management with major stockists and parts suppliers. The team has built a solid reputation for its expertise and efficiency in the supply and management of rotable parts on the basis of exchange, loan, lease, sale or CPAL/PBH agreements. ASC has created a niche for itself in the market through its specialism in managing wheel and brake programmes, already providing CPAL programmes for a number of operators.

ASC is currently working closely with leading aircraft braking specialist Messier Bugatti providing retrofit management expertise for a range of programmes including the new carbon brake on the B737NG fleet and is also involved in the new Boeing 787 programme. In addition, ASC provides a rotable repair management service for a growing number of operators.
