ExecuJet Middle East receives Embraer Legacy Maintenance approval

Monday 12th July, 2010

ExecuJet Dubai has been awarded the Embraer Legacy maintenance approval from the United Arab Emirates General Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA) and European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA). The approval was awarded to the company in June this year and enables ExecuJet engineers to carry out line and base maintenance on the entire Embraer Legacy range of aircraft. ExecuJet Middle East is one of the very first companies in the UAE to have been awarded this approval.

ExecuJet currently operates an impressive 5,600sqm maintenance and FBO facility at Dubai International Airport where it also offers aircraft management and charter services. ExecuJet’s Dubai based maintenance division is approved to support the entire range of Bombardier business aircraft as well as the Gulfstream G150 and G200 business aircraft models. The Dubai division is an authorised service centre for Honeywell engines and APUs along with being accredited with the Rockwell Collins Business Regional System Avionics dealership. ExecuJet Dubai holds numerous regional approvals and an EASA 145 certificate for many aircraft types.

“We are excited that we can now offer line and base maintenance to the Legacy owners in the region and beyond. Expanding our maintenance capabilities along with offering superior customer service is one of our utmost priorities” commented Nick Weber, Maintenance Director Middle East.

Last month ExecuJet Middle East announced the addition of two new Challenger 605s to their managed fleet, with more aircraft expected to join over the coming months.
