ExecuJet announces three Spanish FBOs.

Palma de Mallorca confirmed as location of Spanish Head Office:

ExecuJet Europe has further expanded its presence in Spain with the announcement today of three new FBOs (Fixed Base Operations) in Ibiza, Palma and Gerona. The Mallorcan Son San Joan Airport area is also confirmed as home to the ExecuJet Spanish Head Office where a small team supporting operations in the country are located. The latest FBOs bring the total number of European ExecuJet FBOs to 7 adding to the existing bases in Valencia, Zurich, Berlin Schönefeld, Paris Le Bourget (In partnership with Advanced Air Support).

The Ibiza FBO officially opened at the end of April 2011 and comprises of two offices in the General Aviation terminal, including an operations office for crew planning. The VIP lounge has been refurbished in ExecuJet’s corporate style to provide the highest standards and privacy to passengers. The FBO will focus on providing high quality customer service provision, catering, newspapers, limousines, and weather briefings for the crew. The Spanish team running the station are currently preparing for the busy summer period which begins in June driven by high end leisure travellers. The station manager who has many years of experience will report to Nicole Gut, European FBO Director. “We are looking forward to the upcoming season and expect at least 50 movements a month through our first summer in Ibiza.”

ExecuJet opened their third Spanish FBO in Palma on 13th May. The base is located in the General Aviation building and will be run by a team of four experienced staff, who have been taken over from established Spanish FBO business Assistair. ExecuJet has also announced that they will be basing a Hawker 800 at the airport which will be available for third party charter, “Our expectation is that Palma will be busy all year round. There is an extensive network of wealthy individuals that live and work on the island who travel all year, and an active Spanish business community travelling to and from the peninsula,” continued Nicole.
On the mainland ExecuJet will be providing handling services through an additional FBO based in Gerona and aims to serve the expanding industrial area of Catalunya which is continuing to develop a significant business economy.
