Blackhawk, a recognized aviation leader in providing engine performance solutions to the global turboprop fleet, signed a new Service Agreement with ExecuJet Africa at the National Business Aviation Association (NBAA) 64th Annual Meeting & Convention in Las Vegas last week.

The service agreement will expand ExecuJet’s expertise whilst facilitating the Blackhawk performance upgrades for turboprop aircraft owners in Africa. Blackhawk, who in just a decade has established industry leadership in performance improvement systems for single- and twin-engine turboprop aircraft, planned on expanding its worldwide business in Africa.

The company has the largest installed fleet of STC twin-engine turboprop engine upgrades, making them the largest non-OEM buyer of new Pratt & Whitney turboprop engines in the world. With a worldwide network of approved dealers and service support centers, Blackhawk has the strongest resale value of any engine upgrades on the market and holds multiple certifications and approvals from the FAA, EASA and ANAC.

Blackhawk Upgrades are exclusively endorsed by Hawker Beechcraft Corporation and as an ongoing commitment to improve the performance of legacy aircraft, most recently a new FAA-certified upgrade package for the Cessna Caravan has been announced. The enhancements provided by Blackhawk help make aircraft a more valuable and cost-effective asset due to the faster speed and longer range improving arrival and turn-around times for business and passenger flights, not to mention better fuel efficiency.

"ExecuJet Africa is very pleased to join the Blackhawk global network and add this “best in class product” to our range of upgrade services," says Steve Bothma, Maintenance Director of ExecuJet South Africa. "We look forward to a mutually productive partnership."

ExecuJet Africa is the only approved Hawker, Bombardier Aerospace, Dassault and Honeywell Engine Approved Service Centre and is holding dealerships for various Avionics OEMs such as Honeywell, Universal, Avidyne and Garmin.
