Airline Services Components Ltd to showcase at Aircraft Maintenance Russia & CIS, Moscow

Wednesday 10th February, 2010

Building on its success in the Russian market, UK-based Airline Services Components Ltd (ASC) part of the Airline Services Group, will be highlighting its expertise in the supply and management of rotable components at Aircraft Maintenance Russia and CIS during 2-3 March at the Renaissance Hotel in Moscow. This is an annual conference and exhibition dedicated to aircraft maintenance and repair in the CIS region.

ASC Directors Nick Filce and Tony Stilwell, together with Senior Sales Executive Nadya Gooders, will be meeting delegates at Stand No. 36.

ASC’s participation at the event builds on the success the company has been enjoying in Russia in recent years. In October last year it concluded an agreement with new low-fare Russian carrier Avianova to provide wheels and brakes support on its growing Airbus A320 fleet. ASC won the work in the face of stiff competition from several other providers.

ASC provides a range of component support services to UK and international airlines from its London Gatwick headquarters, drawing on a substantial stockholding of Airbus A320 and Boeing 737 Series rotable components, which includes wheels and brake assemblies. It works with a number of OEMs and high quality repair organisations, assisting in the provision of nose to tail component services for its customers. ASC has built up a solid reputation for speed, flexibility and reliability in the supply and management of rotable parts on the basis of, exchange, loan, lease, sale or PBH/CPAL agreements.

This year’s Aircraft Maintenance Russia & CIS conference and exhibition will focus on five main topics: Western-built MRO in Russia; Maintaining Fleet Airworthiness; Spare Parts Supplies – Obstacles and Problems; New Approaches to New Russian-made Aircraft Operation. The conference will be attended by CEOs and technical directors of Russian and international airlines, MRO providers, spare parts suppliers, government officials, aircraft and equipment manufacturers, key representatives of financial and investment sectors, insurance and leasing companies.
