Airline Services Components appoints new Regional Sales Manager

Airline Services Components Ltd (ASC) has appointed a new Regional Sales Manager to oversee existing customers and develop new business in Europe, Africa and the Middle East. French-born Lilya LeCoq joins the company from Messier-Bugatti in France where she previously held Sales and Customer Service roles. Lilya has a PhD in Microelectronics gained from University of Rouen and MEng in Electronics from the University of Algiers.

Commenting on her new appointment Lilya said: “I am delighted to be joining ASC at such an exciting stage in the company’s development. Our main market driver for growth is overseas with around 90% of ASC’s fast growing turnover derived from customers outside the UK. We have specific focus on Europe, Africa and the Middle East, where I look forward to building on our existing relationships and developing new ones.”

Lilya, who is fluent in French, Arabic, English, German and Spanish, is based at ASC’s head office and main storage and distribution centre situated close to London-Gatwick Airport (LGW). This location benefits from excellent road, rail and air transport links. The Gatwick office is supported by additional offices in Manchester and the East Midlands.

ASC, part of the Airline Services Group, provides expertise in the supply and management of rotable components. By offering a range of component support services to airlines and MRO organisations around the world from its London Gatwick headquarters, drawing on a substantial stockholding of Airbus A320 and Boeing 737 Series rotable components. ASC has built up a solid reputation for speed, flexibility and reliability in the supply and management of rotable parts on the basis of, exchange, loan, lease, sale or PBH/CPAL agreements. To this end, ASC also provides extensive support for wheels and brakes for these and other aircraft types including B767 and A330. ASC works with a number of OEMs and high quality repair organisations, assisting in the provision of nose to tail component services for its customers.
