Aviator, the TAG owned hotel located adjacent to Farnborough Airport boasted a full house at this year's international AirShow, welcoming over 5000 guests throughout the week.

The stylish property came into its own during the rain deluged afternoons offering guests exclusive access to its terraces strewn with large protective umbrellas. Industry executives taking advantage of the corporate hospitality offering enjoyed imaginative locally sourced food and fine wines in the Brasserie, along with excellent service and, most importantly, unparalleled views of the air display from the relative dryness of the terraces.Leading aviation companies including Bombardier, TAG and Panasonic enjoyed the full scope of the hotel's services. "We were busier than ever with clients maximising every part of our full concierge service with requests ranging from directions and taxi reservations to the more unusual such as arranging printing and providing umbrellas for protection against the incessant rain," said Michael Helling, General Manager of the hotel.

Complementing the stylish hotel leading luxury brand partners included Breitling watches, which also had its aerobatic team displaying at the weekend; and top marque McLaren cars which displayed two cars parked on the lawn in front of the hotel. This year a select group of hotel guests included influential business aviation executives, international government delegations, high net worth individuals and A List movie stars who used the hotel as a base for researching their latest potential aircraft purchase.

Companies maximising the hotel's business facilities included Bombardier's senior management team who presented their latest forecasts, Panasonic, which rebooked after their success at the hotel in Farnborough 2010, and TAG who used the Wright Room Lounge for daily hospitality for 50 guests. Danielle Boudreau, PR Director at Bombardier said, "Aviator's proximity to the show, and efficient and professional services enabled Bombardier to maximise our teams presence at the event with minimal disruption to our working day." Confirming the benefits of Aviator to show guests, the hotel has already taken reservations for the 2014 event.

Aviator is one of the UK's most striking design hotels and works seamlessly with the airport to complement their services to crew and passengers alike. The hotel consists of 169 bedrooms, a renowned Brasserie, Brasserie Bar, Deli, Sky Bar, Sky Lounge, 7 meeting rooms and an exercise studio. The team is led by Michael Helling, General Manager. The hotel is regularly fully booked across all areas and much of this success is down to the management team's vision for the potential of the hotel and the destination itself.
