Vueling increases the number of passengers carried in March by 30.8%

The company increases its load factor by 6.6 points year-on-year, reaching a 78.5% load factor.

Barcelona, 11th April 2012 - Vueling, the new generation airline, has carried 1,041,729 passengers in March 2012. This represents a 30.8% increase compared to March 2011. The company has reached a load factor of 78.5%, 6.6 points higher than last year.

New routes for summer 2012 and new base in Rome-Fiumicino:

In addition to the previously announced routes, during the month of March Vueling has launched three new routes for the summer 2012 season: Barcelona-Zagreb, Barcelona-Santander and Paris Orly-Oviedo. Also, Vueling continued increasing its international presence with the opening of a new operational base in Rome-Fiumicino airport.
