General Strike in Spain 29th March 2012.

The general strike in Spain called for on Thursday 29th March will cause significant restrictions all day.


Vueling has confirmed that it will operate the following flights in line with the minimum number of services decreed by the Ministry of Public Works. Vueling anticipates that it will operate a total of 94 flights on Thursday (33%) and it will cancel 191 (67%) flights.


All passengers affected by the general strike with bookings made through www.vueling.com will be able to:

  • Free change of flight to another one if booked to fly on 29th March
  • Changes of date departure to the next available flight will not be charged but the difference of fare between both flights should be paid.

REQUEST A REFUND ONLINE;

  • Alternately, you can ask for the refund of the affected flight here. All the mandatory fields need to be completed and the refunds will be undertaken within seven (7) days.

All passengers of flights affected by the general strike with bookings made through travel agencies, on-line agencies or www.iberia.com should ask for these alternatives to their own Customer Service departments.


Passengers whose flights will not be operated have been notified by e-mail and sms to the e-mail address that was entered during the booking process.
