Rotana Jet, Wallan Aviation, Thierry Boutsen and Piaggio Aero latest participants.

Abu Dhabi, February 16 2012: With less than one month to go before the Air Expo makes its debut at Al Bateen Executive Airport, the show organisers announce that Rotana Jet, Wallan Aviation and Thierry Boutsen have all confirmed their participation.

Rotana Jet Aviation is also confirmed as one the principal sponsors and will feature prominently on the exhibition lanyards. They will also benefit from a VIP area to welcome delegates. With its principal home at Al Bateen, Rotana Jet provides a full range of executive jet services including charter, aircraft management, consultation, new and pre-owned jet sales and maintenance and is already successfully operating a Gulfstream G450.

"Rotana Jet is one of the newest operators in the Middle East and we have had a very favorable 12 months operating a host of successful flights on our Gulfstream G450," said James Coak, Commercial Manager at Rotana Jet. "We have a luxury 50-seater A319 LR VIP Airbus joining our fleet in the second quarter of 2012 and other aircraft are currently being contracted." Rotana Jet 's expert staff will be on-hand at the Air Expo to discuss the latest information on its various services in addition to new information about its future growth plans and the benefits provided to business jet users in the region.

Wallan Aviation, exclusive dealer in the Middle East for Cessna Aircraft and Authorized Bell Representative for Saudia Arabia, has also chosen the Abu Dhabi Air Expo to display a range of aircraft designed in Wichita. "This is the first exhibition geared towards the development of General Aviation in the Middle East," said Saad Al Wallan, Chairman of Wallan Aviation. "We will not only exhibit aircraft but look forward to discussing the future of aviation in the region with industry and government representatives. We look forward to the exhibition and the meetings that will take place during the show. " A strong force in the Middle East for 20 years, Wallan aviation has been honoured by being awarded the prestigious Certificate of Appreciation by the US Department of Commerce for strengthening American-Saudi ties.

Thierry Boutsen of Boutsen Aviation, which brokers aircraft in home-base Monaco as well as in France, has also confirmed participation at the show. Boutsen will be promoting his broking and interior decoration services to the delegates. Piaggio Aero of Italy has also been confirmed as a participant, with the Piaggio Avanti.

Running from the 6th to the 8th of March 2012 at Al Bateen Executive Airport, the Abu Dhabi Air Expo is the only General Aviation Exhibition in the Middle East. The static display will comprise an impressive line-up including a Challenger 850, the elegant Hermes Eurocopter EC135 and one of Embraer's stylish Lineage 1000 models.
