Vueling closed 2011 with over 12.3 million passengers carried.

Another annual record since the founding of the company. The figure represents an increase of 11.6% year on year. In December the company carried 847 thousand passengers, which represents an increase of 15.3% compared to December 2010.

Vueling, the new generation airline, has carried 846,752 passengers in December 2011. This represents a 15.3% increase compared to December 2010. The company has reached a load factor of 76.5%, 6.2 points higher than December of last year.

For the January-December 2011 period, Vueling carried 12,315,721 passengers, which implies an 11.6% increase in the number of carried passengers compared to 2010. The company has reached a load factor of 75.6% for the year, 2.4 points higher than the load factor of 2010.

New routes for summer 2012, consolidation and growthIn 2012 Vueling will continue its consolidation and growth based on its international expansion, which includes new routes to the United Kingdom, France, Germany and Denmark, among other new destinations. Vueling will further evolve connectivity, mainly though its Barcelona hub, and will continue to add value to its product, with special attention to the business passenger.
