Oriens Advisors bolsters expanding associate network.

Oriens Advisors, the aviation consultancy specialising in providing support for the full range of businesses associated with the entry level jet value chain, has expanded its core client offering with the addition of a new associate. Tristan Crawford will join the Oriens network with immediate effect and will work on a consultancy basis reporting to CEO Edwin Brenninkmeyer. His main brief is to support Oriens growing operations requirements as the company consolidates its position and reaches new levels of success with an increased variety of aviation businesses entering its portfolio.

A Cambridge University graduate and qualified PPL pilot of ten years, Tristan was formerly Divisional Operations Manager with QinetiQ where he was responsible for applying Lean and value stream analysis to technical consulting services. Prior to QinetiQ Tristan was based in France working as a research project leader with Alcan Aerospace, leading airframe technology projects in France, Switzerland, Germany and the UK.

At Oriens his experience will be used to implement management systems that will maximise business leads, improve day to day efficiency and ensure individual projects are mapped throughout the business cycle. His prior knowledge of the aerospace sector is expected to support the definition and development of aerospace technology programmes for a variety of clients. Tristan is also expected to facilitate client innovation work-shops.

Tristan commented: "With Oriens broad spectrum vision for the entry level jet market the role will enable me to work with a wide range of aviation sectors, yet use my existing project management experience to full affect both internally at Oriens and for the company's clients."

Michael Ricks, COO of Oriens said: "As the business has developed we have diversified our client roster and recognise the need to bring other skill sets to the consultancy offering. We aim to provide excellent knowledge to our clients and are developing an expanding group of associates that we can call on as we undertake specialised projects." Along with its affiliation with Gates Aviation, and InterFlightGlobal, Oriens plans to bring further associates to its network over the next twelve months.
