FlairJet Looks East for Software Upgrade.

Tuesday 24th May 2011

David Fletcher, CEO of FlairJet and Pawel Czubilinski, President of Leon Software announced a deal at EBACE last week that sees the London Oxford Airport, UK - based executive air charter operator implementing software form Warsaw-based Leon. The web based software will control management of all fleet and crew scheduling needs of Europe's largest Embraer Phenom operator.

The Leon software will better support key administrational functions such as tracking crew training, monitoring license expiration, and offers greater interfacing with flight planning and pricing software. Crucially the software will improve the efficiency of data collection for the new regulations related to the Emissions Trading Scheme (ETS).

David Fletcher commented: "LEON gives FlairJet a platform for growth combined with efficiency benefits, something we will notice immediately with our new Cannes base. Overall it provides valuable information for business planning purposes and supports our strategic expansion plans as we add new aircraft type, expand the fleet and widen our customer base."

Pawel Czubilinski added: 'We have found FlairJet a very responsive operator providing us with precise details regarding the requirements and expectations of the UK aviation market. Our aim is to continue developing new functions and improve software technology in order to meet the latest IT standards. The cooperation with FlairJet is another milestone in understanding our customers' expectations."

FlairJet, backed by three London based QCs, achieved its UK AOC and commenced revenue charter flights in December 2009 with two initial Embraer Phenom 100s. A third aircraft was added to the fleet in May 2010. FlairJet has enjoyed a successful introduction to the market flying business and leisure passengers on short haul flights to Europe and UK cities. FlairJet's growth in business is reflected in the increase of personnel, which now number 17, up from eight in December 2009, together with a move to larger premises at Oxford Airport.

Working closely with leading aircraft brokers, FlairJet has become an established name in the light jet charter market.
