COBALT AIR REWARDS UK AGENTS WITH 3% COMMISSION

Tuesday 14th August 2018

Valid on all new bookings to Cyprus and Greece until the end of the year:

With the summer season in full swing, Cyprus' largest airline, Cobalt Air, has sun, sea and... agents on its agenda.  The Cypriot carrier is offering 3% commission on all new bookings from the UK to Cyprus and Greece up until the end of year.

The new commission structure is only available through Travel Agents connected to the Global Distribution System (GDS) using UK BSP.  The 3% will be deducted automatically at the time of booking.

Cobalt currently operates 20 flights a week from the UK:

Heathrow to Larnaca - Daily

Gatwick to Larnaca - Six days a week

Gatwick to Athens - Two days a week

London Stansted to Larnaca - Three days a week

Manchester to Larnaca - Two days a week

In addition, the airline offers onward connections; for example, from Heathrow to Abu Dhabi via Larnaca three days a week.

Flights from Heathrow and Gatwick operate on two class Airbus A320 aircraft featuring large bespoke seats in Business Class and a generous 30" pitch in Economy Class. Flights from Stansted and Manchester feature an all Economy A319, but again in a 30" pitch, delivering a more spacious flying experience than most of its competitors

Commentig on the new Commission Initiative, Paul Simmons, Cobalt's Chief Commercial Officer said: "At Cobalt we really value and understand the role that travel agents play in our industry.

We also understand that it is sometimes a good idea to give our partners in the Trade a small advantage over other channels. This is why we have launched a 3% commission scheme via BSP on all Cobalt Air bookings between now and December 31st 2018."

Cobalt Air was voted the Best Airline Start-up in the world by CAPA in their 2017 awards. The airline flies to 12 countries and 21 routes from its home base in Cyprus.
