Canada-based precision engineering company MSB has announced ahead of this year's EBACE 2015 that it has confirmed its largest single order for its bespoke Crystal, China and Flatware (CCF) inserts.

Associated Air Centre (AAC), StandardAero's Transport Category VIP completion center in Dallas, Texas, has made the order. The deal will see MSB deliver over 100 of the individually created protective storage inserts to Associated Air Centre by August 2015. This is the first time the company, which specializes in full completion capabilities for narrow and wide body aircraft has worked with MSB.

The design department from MSB is working with AAC's completions team to establish the exact requirements for the specific project which is the completion of a green Boeing wide body aircraft. It will then fall to the technical team to create the specifications for each piece. The inserts will be used to securely store dinnerware, glasses, and stemware.

MSB has existing relationships with OEMs to provide CCFs for business aviation and is now building on this by developing relationships with completion centres worldwide. "We are delighted to be working with Associated Air Centre," said Shannon Gill Business Development Director for MSB. "We have strong relationships with a number of OEMs but recognise that completion centres often design and specify the interior cabin requirements. We have worked hard in the last 18 months to increase our footprint in this sector and the Associated Air Centre is the first of a number of orders of similar size and larger that we are finalising." The additional business has resulted in MSB gearing up by expanding the precision engineering division with the addition of a further two full time technicians.

"We are pleased to be working with MSB as they reflect the highest quality, innovation, and attention to detail," said Victor James, AAC Strategic Sourcing Lead.

MSB will be co-exhibiting Dahlgren Duck & Associates, the fine china and flatware company, at this year's EBACE 2015 on Booth M063 where it will showcase its Crystal, China and Flatware (CCF) inserts. Each insert is made of lightweight, but strong, precision-cut high-density foam that has been fully certified for aviation use. Meticulous attention is given to ensuring the foam is cut to match the contours, surface and shape of the fragile items, in addition to the exact dimensions of the cabinets and drawers where the objects will be stowed so ensuring full protection whilst in motion.
