Switzerland-based Vertis Aviation, part of the independently owned aviation business the 28 East Group, will celebrate its first year of successful operations in the Middle East at this year's Middle East Business Aviation conference, MEBA, 8 - 10 December, Dubai.  At an elite evening event to mark the milestone Vertis will also announce that two new aircraft types, a Boeing Business Jet and a Gulfstream G450, will be added to its expanding charter portfolio.

It is anticipated the Boeing Business Jet (BBJ), will serve routes from the Middle East to Europe with routes such as Doha to London or Jeddah to Paris likely to be popular. The jet, which is managed by Malta-based Privajet, and operated by a European crew well versed in Middle Eastern experience, can accommodate up to 19 passengers. With two flight attendants and a chef on board each and every flight, passengers will be assured of the highest possible level of inflight service.

The 6000nm range BBJ features a luxurious, spacious interior with a full bedroom including queen-sized bed, two shower rooms, a six-place conference/dining room and two additional seating areas. This is complemented by a full state-of-the-art entertainment system with Wi-Fi and 19 iPads from which to stream onto a full range of TV, films and music onto High Definition screens. Vertis anticipates that the BBJ will appeal to a range of clients from government officials to heads of state and from captains of industry to international celebrities.

The 16 passenger Gulfstream G450 is also a high-performance, stylish aircraft that it is anticipated will meet all the demands of Vertis' international clients. It will serve popular routes such as from London to New York or Paris to Moscow. The 2008 Aircraft will be operated by, Germany-based Windrose Air Jet Charter GmbH. The new addition, which is German-registered, is the seventh large cabin, ultra long range Vertis aircraft available for charter.

With a range of up to 4350nm, the G450 offers a roomy and well-appointed interior featuring two four-place club seating areas and two four-place divans. The exceptionally quiet cabin also features lower cabin altitude which helps reduce fatigue on long flights. Vertis expects the aircraft will appeal to its existing clients and that it will attract new clients who prefer the Gulstream aircraft types.

"We've had a very positive year which has been buoyed up by the success of the Middle East office. It's great to be expanding our portfolio as we know many clients are fans of the BBJ and Gulfstream models. The choice to bring these models into our collection reflects our unique boutique approach, which provides tailored aviation services matching the specific needs of our clients. We anticipate the addition of our first BBJ will be highly sought after by our Middle Eastern clients and we look forward to offering it exclusively to our select client base. Equally, our first G450 will have great appeal and be in strong demand throughout Europe for the coming holiday season," said Jeffrey Emmenis Partner at Vertis Aviation.

The Gulfstream G450 and BBJ aircraft, which are available immediately for charter, will join the long range charter fleet which Vertis markets exclusively on behalf of its operating partners which includes: Gulfstream G650, Bombardier Global 6000, three Airbus ACJ corporate jets, Bombardier Global XRS aircraft, Bombardier Global Express, and a Dassault Falcon 7X.
