Aviacare opens new office at Cannes Airport to support growing demand.

Aviacare, the airport development consultancy headed by Managing Director, Catherine Gaisenband, has this week opened a new office at Cannes Airport to support its growing business. Located conveniently within paces of the main terminal, the three year old business aviation consultancy is well placed to support both the industry's network of FBOs in Europe and the growing demand it is experiencing for its full range of business aviation consultancy services from Africa.

As Africa experiences a period of rapid growth in business aviation, Aviacare has recently provided valuable consultancy support to a variety of companies to help develop  sustainable business including assisting projects in North Africa, developing business aviation services in a West African country and facilitating the arrangement of a joint venture between a European and Sub-Saharan country. The company is also currently investigating the option to open an office in partnership in West Africa.

The company's growth and success in the region follows a three month period last year working with Nigerian-based aviation services company Evergreen Apple Nigeria (EAN), where it advised on matters relating to FBO services, design and management. Catherine also attended the first regional African Business Aviation Symposium (AfBAA) held in Marrakech in September 2013 where she joined a panel that discussed challenges faced by the FBOs and ground handlers working within business aviation across the continent.  In response to the business expansion, Aviacare is currently exploring options to expand its core team in Cannes.

Commenting on the company's recent growth and success, Catherine Gaisenband said: "We are very pleased to be located at Cannes Airport with easy access to Europe, Africa and beyond. We are excited to be working in Africa to help support the business aviation industry there as it experiences a period of rapid growth and develops its infrastructure. I love the continent and its people's dynamism so we are pleased to be working in conjunction with existing and new companies to support growth whether it is assistance with FBO development, finding good European company partners for joint ventures, statistics research, commercial representation in Europe or links between or within the continents. We are an energetic business full of ideas and look forward to continued growth."

Aviacare provides a range consultancy services including aircraft brokerage, charter offerings, tender preparation, strategic partner identification and management support for external partner relationships e.g. managing architects for new build FBO properties. The company which re-launched in October 2013 covers a broad geographic area which extends from Europe and Africa to the Middle East and Russia.
