Swiss-based Vertis Aviation, part of the independently owned aviation company 28 East Group, is celebrating the first anniversary of its Central London office this month having achieved considerable growth during its first year of business.

The Kensington office of Vertis Aviation UK Limited, headed up by Managing Director and Vertis Aviation Partner, Julian Burrell, has brokered several hundred private aircraft charters since launching in January 2013. The new business has noticed a particular growth in demand for leisure charters originating from and destined for Russia and the Middle East along with destinations such as West Africa (following investment growth in the oil and gas sector), Central America and Mexico.

The fashionable hotspots of Nice, Ibiza, Malaga and Miami continue to be popular with clients in the summer months as do the ski 'airports' of Chambery, St Moritz and Sion in the winter. Since opening the London office, Vertis Aviation UK Limited has provided charter services for clients including heads of state, celebrities, government officials and CEOs of large international conglomerates needing comfort, reliability and long range capability.

Julian Burrell comments: "We are delighted to be celebrating the first birthday of the Vertis London office. We have experienced a very successful year building the Vertis brand in the UK with its reputation for excellence in personalised service, knowledgeable staff and a highly customer focussed approach.  We look forward to continued growth over the next 12 months and as a result of the success will be adding another highly knowledgeable charter broker to the team soon."

As a company, Vertis Aviation markets seven long range, large cabin aircraft for charter; a Bombardier Global 6000, two Airbus A319 corporate jets, two Bombardier Global XRS aircraft, a Bombardier Global Express, and the Dassault Falcon 7X. The large cabin, long range fleet including the Airbus A319 and Bombardier Global XRS has proved particularly popular with London customers headed to Russia whilst those destined for the Middle East have tended to favour the Bombardier Challenger 605 and Embraer Legacy 650.

The London office complements Vertis Aviation's recently opened office in Dubai at Dubai World Central - Al Maktoum International Airport, and its headquarters in Zug, Switzerland.
