  • Flying Coloura delivers first special mission CFJ Exect Liner to Sharjah UAE

Ahead of this year's Dubai Airshow, Flying Colours Corp. the Canadian headquartered MRO, completion and refurbishment specialist has delivered its first special mission CRJ ExecLiner conversion to Sharjah, UAE-based operator Eagle Aviation FZC.

The aircraft was delivered at the beginning of November following a refurbishment process of four months and incorporated complete Flying Colours Corp Supplemental Type Certification.  Refurbishment saw the Flying Colours Corp design team work in close collaboration with the operator to convert the aircraft, which had been part of a US airliner fleet, to an innovative special mission airplane. The newly fitted aircraft can offer regular VIP charter, Medevac options, or a combination of charter/medevac, so providing Eagle Aviation with the ultimate versatility at a very cost effective rate.

The interior of the aircraft has been outfitted with three separate zones that can be adapted for each specific charter request. Two forward VIP areas feature a front section with settee and two facing complementary business class seats whilst a mid-section features a club style four business class seat interior. The aft cabin is fitted with twenty-two economy style seats.   The settee in the front section can be converted for use in Medevac situations and offers a full size certified stretcher for enabling the aircraft to be used for multiple missions.

"We are already well known for our ExecLIiner VIP conversions of which we've now completed eleven," commented Sean Gillespie Executive VP Flying Colours Corp. "However this latest ExecLiner required a completely different style of modification. It demonstrates the flexibility of our team and our adaptability to client specific requirements. We anticipate that we will be making more of these special mission modifications and are already in discussions with a number of clients for these very specific types of interior. The CRJ ExecLiner conversions make a really good option for operators or owners looking to own a specially modified aircraft without the expense of buying new and our reliability means they can expect a remodelled aircraft on time and within budget," he continues.
