Tuesday 17th September 2013

FlairJet, part of Marshall Aviation Services, the business aviation arm of Marshall Aerospace and Defence Group, announced today at BGAD 2013 it is adding another Embraer Phenom 100 to its managed fleet.  Effective October, aircraft G-ITSU, configured in a four-seat club arrangement,  will be offered for third party charter based out of London Oxford Airport.

The aircraft joins a privately owned Phenom 100 (G-LGMG) based in Bari, Italy and a Cessna XLS and Citation Bravo based at Cambridge International Airport under the FlairJet AOC.

FlairJet absorbed the operations of Marshall Executive Aviation, under one AOC in June, following the company's acquisition by Marshall Aerospace and Defence Group in March this year.  The management teams have subsequently  been merged with an operations base at London Oxford Airport and administration and accounts at Cambridge International.

FlairJet was founded in 2009 by CEO Captain David Fletcher with the backing of three prominent London QCs.  It obtained its UK AOC in December of that year.  From its base at London Oxford Airport, the company has established itself as a dynamic aircraft management company with a strong track record in charter sales.

In March the company was acquired by the Marshall Aerospace and Defence Group to become the lead charter company for Marshall Aviation Services' expanding business aviation portfolio with David Fletcher continuing as Managing Director..

FlairJet has lent its technical expertise to Embraer Phenom 100 and 300 operators all around the world and its training department is actively involved in supporting private owners, other AOC operators and approved training organisations throughout Europe. The company has managed the acquisition, acceptance and delivery of a total 22 Embraer aircraft.   In July it completed the delivery of Embraer's 400th Phenom aircraft, a Phenom 300  SN 150, flying from Embraer's Brazilian Sao Jose dos Campos facility to the customer, The Hansgrohe Group, in Siegerland, Germany.
