African Business Aviation Association

AfBAA

The African Business Aviation Association, AfBAA is the first and only Pan-African association that represents the interests of the continent's aircraft owners, operators, and suppliers to the business aviation industry.

Inaugurated in May 2012 AfBAA aims to assist African States in understanding the benefits that business aviation provides for the continent's economic development and prosperity and creating a single unified voice for the sector.

The Association represents Business Aviation--the segment of air transportation that addresses the needs of companies and individuals for on-demand travel, either via company or privately owned aircraft or via charter.

AfBAA offers a variety of membership options to span the range of business types within aviation. Founding Membership of which 19 of the 20 places are now filled and who shape the future of the association; Launch Membership offers lifetime recognition as well as observer status on all Board Meetings; Operator Membership is available for any commercial enterprise that owns or operates a General Aviation aircraft in Africa with; Supplier Membership for those that provide goods and/or services to Operator Members and lastly Affiliate Membership which is for any entity that does not fulfill the Operator or Supplier membership requirements but that has a genuine interest in business aviation in Africa.
